Ty Anderson
Ty is a founder of Cogent Company and has more than 12 years of management and technology consulting experience and specializes in architecting professional, well designed, information management applications. Prior to founding Cogent Company, Ty was a founding partner of Credera—a strategy and management consulting firm. Ty began his career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand and worked for clients in the shipping & distribution, government and financial industries. Ty is a regular contributor to the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN), DevSource, and has recently written a book, Office Programming 2003: Real World Applications. Ty received a BBA in Accounting and a B.S. in Spanish from Texas Tech University.
Marc Hoppers
Marc is a founder of Cogent Company and has more than 15 years of management consulting and industry experience and specializes advising high growth businesses in the use of technology to improve productivity. Prior to founding Cogent Company, Marc ran global channel sales for Trendium, a network management software firm. Before Trendium, Marc served high growth clients at Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Consulting Partners. He began his career in research and development at Halliburton. Marc is an Adjunct Instructor at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, a guest lecturer at the University of North Texas, and a frequent conference speaker on the topics of technology strategy and business automation. Marc is an Advisory Board Member of the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences in the College of Business at the University of North Texas. Marc received a BA and MA from the University of North Texas.
